"In-between: Traveling & Exploring the Self"

In the summer of 2006, two days before Iris is to board a plane to join her friends for a summer vacation in Southern France, she received a call from her father that her Grandma Martha has died. "Al Comal"

On today's show, host, Pablo Ramirez, will teach us how to make flour tortillas AL COMAL. The recipe he uses has been passed down to him from older generations and has never been shared before, until today. Watch as he stumbles making something so simple, yet complicated. We forgot to mention: Pablo has never made these tortillas before...UP NEXT on AL COMAL.

Stas is once again under the covers playing with google search because it's 2:17 am and she isn't sleeping so, why not?  The search results are in. "Some terms in the urban dictionary are better left undiscovered," she thinks. Her left wing is itchy,  her right wing is sprained,  it is getting harder to hide the ever increasing evidence and spring is almost here. The time to decide is upon her.

"Is there fat in that?"

I mean really, does your elbow have to be shoved into my side? Your stop better be coming up fast. I've been holding in all the profanities that I could shout your way but now you're ----- Does anyone else notice that sound? Can it really only be me who hears it? it coming from me? That seems odd. what happens if I step like this? Oh yeah, that's much better. Wait, no there it is again ----- The buckle clicks once, "There's suppose to be a second click."Now my foreheads glistening. She's definitely staring at me. We're both trying really hard but ----- An earthquake, really? He's got me worried now. I have yet to experience in Earthquake in San Francisco and I'm not willing to experience this right here, not with these people. I mean come on, I'm stuck in -----

"Not Nothing"

Allen is in the dark, Have you ever tried to see when there are no lights? Oh wait...there is a light...let it lead you. Listen to the chorus...Follow the lights to the other side. Can you reach the other side through feats of strength or feats of failure? If you look carefully, all of the pain will disintegrate in a glow of cool blue light. If you close your eyes, you will see more than you ever wanted to see. If you close your eyes you might discover something. Get on the ground and give me 50 push-ups! Now!
